Top Station, located about 30 km away from Munnar town, is the highest point (1700m) in Munnar, on the Munnar-Kodaikkanal road. The place falls on Kerala - Tamil Nadu border, and so it offers a clear view of the panoramic valley of Theni district and Western Ghats in Tamil Nadu.
For nearby accommodation the options are a very few. Either opt for Periyar Residency - a hotel in Top Station, but this is a bit expensive else there are a few forest huts near Vandaravu watch tower.
Also there are a few charming Home-stays with private kitchen in Vattavada, near Pampadum Shola National Park.
